SASA Creative Licensing Program (SCLP) is a new and first of its kind initiative for San Antonio, designed to empower artists, protect creative rights, and expand the life of public art beyond the wall.
Through this program, visual art may be ethically licensed for commercial, media, and merchandise use, with artist approval first, proper credit, and fair compensation always at the center.
SCLP also provides businesses and institutions a clear, responsible way to support public art without infringing on artists’ rights.
This program reflects our belief that:
- Artists deserve respect and long-term value
- Public art should be shared the right way
- Culture can travel, when it’s done ethically
SCLP ensures that when visual art reach new audiences, artists benefit, communities are supported, and public art remains protected.
