Things are moving along swimmingly. In case you missed it…
After three years of designing, planning, managing, administration, moving to the East Side, opening up a new headquarters, canvasing the neighborhood, bringing community together, construction and now, final artistic touches, San Antonio Street Art Initiative is gearing up to open San Antonio’s first street art park in conjunction with the City of San Antonio’s Parks & Rec Department, Arts & Culture Department and D2, OCTOBER 4, 2025.
The park includes a Breakdancing Pad and SA’s first Street Art Basketball Court. Foundationally, we have erected 10 permanent concrete walls that will be painted and re-painted annually during SASA’s Largest Outdoor Gallery in Texas Program which boasts an internationally known annual block party featuring the most simultaneous live street art painting in the city by the biggest and best in the world and locally.
