D.R.E.A.M. SUMMER ART CAMP: Paint What You Hear

All art materials are included. No prior art experience is required, just creativity, curiosity, and a willingness to explore. Space is limited to ensure individual attention for each student.
Join Bad Jacket Studios for a one-of-a-kind creative experience where art and music come together. Lead by former Hollywood music industry professional and current award winning multi-disciplinary artist Burgundy Woods, this half-day camp, will explore music history, color, composition, storytelling, and self-expression through sketching, painting, and spray paint art.
Each day, students will listen to a classic song from the 1960s, 70’s and 80’s discuss the emotions, imagery, and stories within the music, and then create original artwork inspired by what they hear. Along the way, campers will learn art fundamentals, creative problem-solving, and how to turn ideas into visual expression.

August in San Antonio is HOT. Please plan your setup and costumes accordingly.
While you are allowed to sell your artwork as you normally would, creativity and effort toward the theme will strongly influence acceptance.
